Approach

My focus is to provide a thoughtful and collaborative space for people who want to better understand themselves, navigate emotional difficulty, and create meaningful change in their lives. My approach is calm, practical, and person-centred, with a focus on building trust, exploring patterns, and helping clients make sense of what they’re experiencing without judgment.

I’m especially interested in the connection between early experiences, relationships, identity, and the way we cope under stress. I work with clients who may feel stuck, overwhelmed, self-critical, disconnected, or uncertain about how to move forward.

I’m a PACFA-registered counsellor working primarily from psychoanalytic and interpersonal-process approaches, and drawing on CBT, narrative therapy and motivational interviewing. I support anxiety, depression, stress, identity and relationships, with experience in trauma, grief and alcohol and other drug (AOD) use.

“Trust only movement. Life happens at the level of events, not of words. Trust movement.”

— Alfred Adler
